Feisty Ferguson OK Rockets Coach

A champion at the Canadian Hockey League and American Hockey League level, Simon Ferguson will be aiming for continued success with the Okanagan Rockets this season.

Ferguson, a member of the Kelowna Rockets’ 2004 Memorial Cup team and the Calder Cup (AHL)-champion Hershey Bears (2010), has been named head coach of the defending B.C. Major Midget Hockey League-champion Okanagan Rockets.

He takes over from the recently departed Mack O’Rourke, who guided the Rockets to BCMMHLchampionship and a bronze medal at the Telus Cup (Canadian midget championship tournament) in 2014.
