Striking Results for Liquid Lightning

The Liquid Lightning Swim Club stroked to four medals while swimming to 68 personal best times and 10 club records at the B.C. triple-A championships in Victoria recently.

A silver-medal performance by Danielle Douglas, Jessica Forbes, Christina Russo and Kassidie Cornell highlighted the podium performances by the West Kelowna-based club. The foursome finished second in B.C. in the 200-metre medley relay. Douglas, Russo and Forbes then teamed up with teammate Bree Cooper to claim the bronze and set a club record in the open freestyle relay.
