Ogopogo Champ Rides 'Lucky' Break

While he made several brilliant shots and played the most consistent tournament golf of his life over three days, Will Deck considered a fortuitous bounce on the Kelowna Golf and Country Club’s 15th hole as turning point in his Ogopogo Invitational victory on Saturday.

Certain his tee shot on the par-3 15th hole in front of the KGCC clubhouse was heading for the water, Deck’s ball instead ended up in the rough, giving the Harvest Golf Club member the opportunity to salvage par with a subsequent downhill 11-foot putt.
