Osland Pulls Into Tie For Lead

The best round of the day earned Kelowna’s Megan Osland a share of the lead after 36 holes of the B.C. women’s amateur golf championship in Kamloops.

Osland put a exclamation mark on her 4-under-par 69 round at the Kamloops Golf and Country Club on Wednesday with an eagle on the par-5 18th hole.

The San Jose State Spartan golfer hit her second shot on the final hole with a hybrid from 215 yards out to within six feet of the pin and put it way to shave two more strokes off par.
