Kelowna Golfers Among Amateur Leaders

A pair of Kelowna golfers are in the hunt for a provincial title after the first round of the B.C. amateur and mid-amateur women’s golf championships in Kamloops.

Megan Osland shot 2-under-par 71 at the Kamloops Golf and Country Club on Tuesday to sit alone in fifth place in the 50-player field, while Madison Kapchinsky’s par-73 is good for eighth place going into Wednesday’s second around of the 72-hole competition.
