Okanagan Flavour At Skaha Beach

While Vancouver-area teams dominated the medal haul, Okanagan players were also among the top finishers at the Okanagan Volleyball Association’s Pro Open Series beach volleyball tournament a Skaha Lake on the weekend.

Ben Feist, a graduate of KLO Secondary School and a former University of B.C. Thunderbird, teamed up with Stephen Nash of Vancouver to take second place among the 24 men’s teams.

Feist and Nash lost to Dave Beleznay and Ryan Gandy of Vancouver in the tournament final after  defeating the duo of Kelowna’s Brett Weninger (Kelowna Secondary School/Vancouver Island University) and former UBC Okanagan Heat, Joel Caschetto of Vancouver, in semifinal play.
