Shortstop Jared Smith collected two hits and scored three times as the Kelowna Falcons won their second game in a series with Walla Walla Sweets on Thursday.
Colton Waltner was perfect at the plate and drove in the winning run as the Kelowna Falcons outscored the host Walla Walla Sweets 6-5 in West Coast (Baseball) League play on Thursday.
University of San Diego catcher raised his WCL batting average to .240 with the help of his three hits, including the RBI single in the eighth inning that cashed in teammate Jerod Smith with the deciding run.
The Falcons will play a three-game series in Covallis beginning on Friday.
Next home game for the Falcons is Tuesday when they play host to the the Yakima Valley Pippins in the first game of three-game series.
The first pitch will be delivered at 6:35 p.m.
