Gun-toting thugs in Kamloops
Kamloops RCMP were called to a rooming-house complex in the 400 block of St. Paul St. around11:20 AM Sunday morning after two men, reportedly armed with a shotgun and a hand gun, confronted a group of people who were sitting out on the deck of the home.
Five of the six people sitting on the deck immediately left the area but the occupant of the suite with whom they were visiting was upstairs in his suite. The suspects went in the building, entered the man’s suite and reportedly demanded to know the whereabouts of a male who was identified by first name only. The two suspects then left the area.
Investigators cleared the suite and determined that the suspects had left.
The first suspect is described as a white male with a medium build, about 25-30 years old with dark hair, pock-marked face, and shorter in height than the second suspect. He was wearing a blue hoodie, a black hat and was wearing sunglasses. He had a camouflage tactical belt loaded with shotgun ammunition around his waist.
The other man is a thinly built native male with light coloured skin, possibly Métis, 30-40 years old. He is taller than the first suspect and has long black hair in a ponytail. He wore a grey hoodie, camouflage pants and boots.
The major crime unit of the Kamloops RCMP is now assisting in the investigation.
Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP or Crimestoppers.
