The Kamloops RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating Andrew Robert Hardenstine (B: 1980-Jan-15), a Federal parolee who went unlawfully at large from a Community Based Residential Facility in Kamloops on January 14.
A Canada Wide Warrant has been issued for Hardenstine, who was serving a 3 year 8 month sentence on two convictions for Possession of Drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking and a weapons related offence when he was released on parole in early January.
Hardenstine is 5'9" (173cm) tall and weighs approximately 200 lbs. (91kg). He has a shaved head (brown hair) and blue eyes. The top of his left ring finger and left little finger are amputated and he has a full “sleeve” tattoo on his left and right arm.
The Kamloops RCMP believe that Hardenstine may have left the central interior and may be headed to the Grand Forks area or to the Lower Mainland where he is known to have associates involved in the drug subculture.
Andrew Hardenstine has a lengthy criminal record, including incidents of violence against people. Members of the public are cautioned not to approach or apprehend Hardenstine if he is observed.
Anyone with information on the current location of Andrew Robert Hardenstine is asked to contact their local police force or Crimestoppers.
