Anyone travelling north on Highway 1 this morning should expect delays near Sorrento.

The highway is closed in both directions following a vehicle incident eight kilometres west of Sorrento.

The road is estimated to be reopening sometime between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. today.

There is no detour in effect.
