The Vernon RCMP are asking the public to help in identifying the people in the photos below.
Armstrong suspects Dec. 2012
Officers have spoken to witnesses and they have not been able to identify the suspects and are asking for the public’s help.
On November 30, 2012 two robberies occurred in the Armstrong and Enderby area.
Enderby file 2012-25972: Attempted robbery of Enderby Jewelers in Enderby. Suspect 1 produced a firearm and fled store after demanding jewelry and not receiving requested anything from the clerk. Second person of interest fled the store while attempted robbery was occurring.
Suspect 1 is described as 6'0 tall, 180 lbs, 25 - 25 years old, tanned skin, entered the store wearing a black "Canada" Olympic style hooded sweatshirt with Canada written in white and black pants, he also produced a handgun.
A Person of Interest (POI), Suspect 2, entered the Enderby Jewelers about five minutes prior to Suspect 1 and may have been involved. The POI ran out of the jewelry store mid-robbery and Suspect 1 ran out after him. The POI is described as being male, Caucasian, about 5'10 tall, slim, late 40's to 50's, reddish goatee, and he was wearing a black "fedora" style hat, beige/white long sleeved shirt, black leather vest, and grey pants.
Armstrong file 2012-26002: Robbery of Anchor Inn Liquor Store. Two Caucasian males in their 40's entered the store and took undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes and liquor. Suspects took off in a 1988 red Chrysler 5th Avenue BCL# 540 TVK. The car was stolen from the clerk.
Suspect 1: Wore a grey/blue winter jacket, Caucasian, about 6'0 tall, medium build, black gloves, black ball cap with white writing, it was pulled low over his face. Suspect could be in his 40s.
Suspect 2: Caucasian male, 6'2 tall, slender build, no facial hair observed (but collar was pulled up high), short and shaggy hair, 40's, wore a red snowsuit, black gloves and a dark toque.
RCMP ask if you know, or think you recognize, the suspects to call the RCMP or contact Crime Stoppers.
