Third person arrested in Salmon Arm
A third person is now in custody and facing charges in the death of Tyler Myers.
According to RCMP, investigators have arrested a 21-year-old male from Salmon Arm and charged him with obstruction of justice. His name is not being released at this time.
"This is very much an ongoing process," says Inspector Gary Shinkaruk, E Division Major Crime Unit.
"Our investigators remain committed to finding anyone involved in Tyler’s murder and we will continue to investigate until we are certain that we have identified everyone involved."
The arrest comes on the fourth anniversary of Myers death, who was found with a gunshot wound at Bastion Elementary school on November 21, 2008.
Earlier this month, a 20-year-old male and a 21-year-old female were arrested and charged with first degree murder for Tyler’s Myers murder.
