Calgary family in hospital after crash

On August 18 at approximately 5:30 a.m. Salmon Arm RCMP responded to a Motor Vehicle Incident involving one vehicle on Highway 1 near Blind bay.
The vehicle involved was occupied by a family of five from Calgary, specifically a husband, wife and their three children aged 16, 14 and 8. Occupants of the vehicle received serious life threatening injuries and were all transported to hospital for medical attention.
South East District Traffic Services and a Traffic Analyst attended the scene and the investigation is still ongoing.
