Police in Salmon Arm have a known drug dealer in custody.

RCMP arrested the unidentified male Friday in a parking lot in the city's downtown core.

The suspect was found to be in possession of a large amount of cocaine, heroin and Canadian currency.

The drugs had a street value of about $2,000.

As a result of the arrest police also obtained a search warrant for the suspect's residence where small amounts of cocaine and marijuana were also seized.
