I have been a Rockets fan for a number of years and I am having a very difficult time with the way the goalie situation is being handled. I understand the CHL granted permission for a goalie to be added to the lineup should Westbloom get hurt, and only if he gets hurt.
So, in essence, Kelowna is playing with only one goalie, how much sense does that make? In the first game on Saturday, one of the teams had 4 goalies dressed at the opening, how can that be? Isn't this supposed to be a fair playing field?
I had to feel sorry for Christopher last night when that puck hit the post and went across and hit the other post. Good thing it wasn't called a goal but you would think at that time, he may have been a bit shaken up and Mr. Truitt probably would have liked to put the other guy in just to give him a break.
I think it is really stupid that we have ONE goalie and everyone else is using two. I'm hoping Mr. Hamilton is raising a rukus about this.
