Re: 97C travel advisory lifted
Thanks to The RCMP and a couple of Truckers
I would like to give a good spin on yet another Connector Closure, albeit almost May we had the occasion to have a travel day to the Coast, and on our return on this very in-climate day were advised by Drive BC that 97C was open before leaving Merritt.
Well, as we all know somebody had a hiccup when finding that 4-6 cm. of snow had accumulated 2-3 km's before Pennask summit after some 2+ hours a few vehicles started to move with much spinning the road surface was like glass and we found ourselves having to be physically pushed by a very fit young RCMP Officer and a couple of sidelined truckers.
We often have heard of the bad things of these two groups, I just wanted to show some of the good parts as well, Thanks again fellows.
