Letters to the editor

Fintry move unfair to others

To the editor:

Let me get this straight.

The city forced long time residents to remove their personal watercraft from the bay, citing reasons of hazards, eyesores, pollution risks etc.

Then, immediately after, they allow the biggest, tackiest, derelict hulk in the entire Okanagan Valley to drop anchor right in the middle of the newly cleared space.

Kelowna, what are you smoking these days?

The owner of this vessel owes the city nearly $80,000 for past moorage. Why does he get to walk away from that and leave his junk in the space that you just hustled my neighbours out of?

Your bias towards your constituents is becoming a little obvious.  Give your heads a shake.
