Letters to the editor
Party lines blurring |
|
|
To the editor:
Interesting turbulence in the BC Conservative party lately.
Can it possibly be Liberals disguised as Conservatives trying for a leadership change before the next election to merge the two parties.
I am sickened by the lengths politicians will go to to retain power.
Whatever happened to the days when a politician aspired to public office to effect change as opposed to lining pockets and qualifying for the too generous pensions.
I am looking forward to the provincial election and the outcome.
Be it a Conservative win, a Liberal win or an NDP win, the right should ask itself "Why do we have two parties with one pretending to be liberal when they are conservative."
They may be getting what they deserve.
