Worried about higher taxes

To the editor:

I read that BC's NDP leader Mr. Dix has already decided if he were Premier, he would repeal the balanced budget law that is currently in place.

I find this very scary, given the past record of the NDP. Obviously, they are more then willing to put us back into a ''have not province'' status which means our triple A credit rating will be lost and all of us tax payers will be on the hook for a debt interest repayment that will be higher than needs to be.
 
Now, once this takes hold one does not have to be a scholar to realize what happens next. The public unions will all ask for, and no doubt receive, higher wages to compensate for the repayment.
