Letters to the editor

Rescue an animal today

To the editor:

I was just reading the article about all the dogs being euthanized and that is tragic.

Now what I am wondering where all the owners of those dogs who have been seized were. Aren`t they the ones really to blame for this?

Also, how about each of the protesters?

Not that they don`t have cause to protest, I am not arguing that at all. But I was wondering if they ever took a rescued dog or cat home with them?

Wouldn`t that make a terrific difference?

We had the most amazing rescued dog he lived to be 14 and is still missed.

At present we have a cat who was rescued and a dog who wasn't, and you would be surprised the difference a rescued animal makes in your life.
