Letters to the editor

The community must help police

To the editor:

I'm in agreement with Ms. Scovill-Ross and surely most of our little community, the RCMP did such excellent work three years ago and cleaned up our neighbourhood.

Recently my companion and I walked to Willow Park and noticed something went in the night and felled two beautiful young shade trees, strewed bike or vehicle parts along the sidewalk, and drove deep ruts into the lawn and smashed the steel fence.

Hollywood is a busy artery. Did anyone report this?

Community safety means community involvement. All it takes is a phone call.

The police work extremely hard in this area and they need to be able to rely on us.
