That an expert has concluded we are slowly running out of water does not surprise me as I observe neighbors washing their driveways and road frontage with a garden hose. Add to that all the water being used to irrigate and make beautiful all of the local golf courses. Are we surprised here?
Agricultural use of that water is necessary and is done in a reasonable fashion but as concerns the above, it's a total waste of a valuable resource.
