Unions at fault

RE:quality not disobedience.

Sub par schooling is a direct result of the teachers inefficiencies and the stubborn attitude of the union.

The cost to provide education keeps rising from the workers being inefficient and never satisfied. Most good teachers have made the system work for years.

The teachers union have tried to blame everyone but themselves for years.

Public employees are funded by the public. Yet we the public, have no review process or discipline process for organized groups that are essentially our employees.

Including the health care workers in your diatribe is the typical response. Try to shift the focus onto someone else.

Better education comes from better teachers, higher standards in the universities, and efficient use of resources. Our government has spent money on revenue producing venues.

They have invested in tourism and sports. These provide jobs and income to the province. They have invested in education, although not so a teacher got a raise or 20 more days off a year.

You would wish all the tax payers money goes to shore up a poorly run system.Help fix the issues, don’t reinforce them.Believe it or not, throwing money at issues is not a solution.

We obviously need smarter people who have less bias, to negotiate the solutions.
