RE:Kelowna still bullish on jail site
I live in Lake Country and like the quiet peaceful surroundings here. Who wants or needs a jail in their backyard?
Let’s build a jail in Kelowna's backyard and see how they like it.
These are prisoners who are being punished -- lets not put them where they have great weather, an awesome view, and hell -- they can go swimming in the lake for their exercise period.
How about we build these prisoners a nice jail on the old Brenda Mine site -- bad weather, bad view and away from the general public. Sounds good to me.
Think about it Mayor Shepherd, please.
