RE:Council torn on path dedication
Why can't the path be dedicated to all 'survivors' -- and not 'victims?'
Anyone who has survived a terrible loss, anyone who has survived spousal abuse, anyone who has survived violence, anyone who is just a survivor.
Survivors are a special group of people, we are strong like the concrete made of this path, we have survivor ups and down like this pathway, we have survived the curves and turns like this pathway, we have support systems from family, friends and even strangers just like this path has supports to keep it up.
Survivors have an angel watching over them so we can strive for greatness just like this pathway.
I think the path dedication should be dedicated to SURVIVORS!
