RE:Watering down drunk driving laws
It seems to me the new laws are aimed at catching those who may only ever have two or three drinks when they go out. Unfortunately its not going to make a difference to the chronic drunk drivers who will continue to drink and drive. The money would be better spent on focusing on them.
I’d like to see a report on how many accidents are caused by those who only ever have a couple to drink. Perhaps I’m wrong. Also I would think that the Breathalyzers should state the actual reading, not a “warning” as there is a big difference between .05 and .08.
