Christmas Meaning Lost

I would like to address this letter to PA, Old Fashioned Christmas!

I totally agree with you. We have lost the meaning of Christmas. We shop until we drop, use too much credit and don't really care about our fellow human beings or the meaning of Christmas. I have not gone to church and do not belong to a church, but I feel that I have the right to say that we are lost in our meaning of Christmas.
We buy and buy but we do not give a thought to people that can not do that. We spend money we do not have and think that it is okay because it is only once a year! Some people can't afford this even if it is only once a year!!!! We are spoiled and everyone that has a good job does not give this a second thought.
Open your eyes Kelowna. Some people are not doing okay.

The system now seems to be low paying jobs with no benefits, if you want to work you must accept no benefits and whatever hours are offered to you and be grateful to get that. Most people have to work three or four jobs and what kind of life can you have doing that. If you have enough family to support you that is great, what about the people who don't.

I am happy to hear that you have beat the system and you are happy despite the system. I have been very fortunate to travel to Mexico and have experienced the same attitude that you and your family display, most people there have not much work but spend their time focused on family, happiness and pay little attention to money and wealth. No one can take your happiness away. If you have this attitude in your lives you are very blessed.

I wish you all the happiness in the World and may you and your family have God shine down on you this Christmas! You are truly the Spirit of Christmas and I hope the holy credit card dies a painful death (with their 18% or 28% rates) and you shine in the glory of your family spirit of family faith and friends!!

It is a pleasure to see the Love Faith and Hope you show to your family. As a GROUP the work you have put forth to gain happiness and togetherness at this time of year is very impressive. I hope everything turns out well for you!

I ALSO wish Kelowna a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
