Some comments on the letter critical of the image you showed of the homeless person and the "invasion of privacy" breach. Firstly, this person is not in the confines of their home where an expectation of privacy could be expected, she is in a public place and as such hasn't the right to "privacy."
Secondly, why is it that some people insist voicing their opinions on the perceived wrong that others do? If the time and energy spent writing the letter to the editor and talking to some of these individuals was put towards working at the Salvation Army or buying them a warm bowl of soup don't you think the person sleeping in the alley would be better off?
