I have to make a comment regarding the pictures of the homeless being displayed on Castanet taken by Kelly Hayes. I find it very disrespectful! It's pointed out that these parking garages and back alleys are their homes yet that doesn't deter you from ignoring their right to privacy and taking a snapshot of them. It's the equivalent of someone snapping a picture of you from your bedroom window as you awaken.
Did Kelly obtain fully understood consent? I have spoken with some of these individuals and have heard their embarrassment and humiliation expressed. Even if your plan was to promote awareness, I think with all the publicity in the media currently, this was very poor judgment. Please have some respect, everyone deserves it!
