Who ever approved the decision on the design of the new Police Station should be fired! Why should the tax payers have to pay for the fancy roof, brick work etc.
All that was required was a basic building with adequate office space, parking, jail cells, etc! Why is it that people that have the need to get elected to public office lose their common sense? They seem to forget that its "our" money not theirs! Shame on them!
PS I just found out that the new police station will not have any jail cells because of budget constraints! I confirmed this with a RCMP officer. Unbelievable!
