Open letter to the RCMP, ICBC, Government of BC, and City of Kelowna.
Was there a law passed in BC involving the use of cell phones while driving?
Is there a set fine or accelerating fine schedule for violations?
Are there any tickets being handed out?
The reason I ask is that I have had some close calls involving these people as well as being held up on occasion by slower moving drivers as they are distracted.
Also, I am still seeing a lot of people driving and talking or even texting and it just blows me away. I was under the impression that there was a fine of upwards of $200 on a first offense, obviously I am wrong because if that were the case, people would not be THAT stupid, right?
