Smoke screen

RE:Fireworks ruined by weed smokers

I appreciate your opinion on the smoking of many or any substances.

It has been shown time and again that the inhalation of smoke by any person, especially one who is asthmatic has a negative effect on the lungs.

Forest fires, cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke are all excellent examples of the types of smoke an asthmatic should not inhale.

It is very unfortunate that forest fires happen, but unfortunately, sometimes lightning strikes an area of the forest that has become rather dry.

It is also unfortunate that citizens choose to exercise their rights and choose to smoke.

Unfortunately, it is not unlawful yet for an individual to choose to smoke cigarettes, however, though it is certainly unlawful for an individual to smoke marijuana, many choose to do so.

I, myself, as a victim of asthma find that the smoke from marijuana is not nearly as influential on my asthma as a forest fire is.

The overwhelming permeation of my breathing environment is very nearly suffocating when thousands of acres of forest burn.

I cannot however stand behind your untoward comments against marijuana smokers.

Though cigarette smokers are often prolific beyond compare, I always find marijuana smokers to be incredibly courteous, and if one were to simply ask them to relocate, especially in the interest of an asthmatic, they are more than happy to oblige.

Please do not blame the smoke of either the marijuana smokers, or even the cigarette smokers for the irritation of your lungs, when the obvious problem is filtering in from the Dilworth fire.
