I'd like to send a big hug and a great big thank you to the woman who turned my daughter's iPod into the lost and found at Westside Daze.
Last night the iPod fell out of a pocket of a chair at the outdoor concert and wasn't discovered missing until late last night.
I think it's a great message for our Canada Day celebrations that one of the things which sets us apart as a country is that there are so many of us in Canada who are kind, generous and think about others.
It surely offsets the people who aren't kind or generous or thoughtful.
Thanks also to the woman who stopped her car and asked if my dog needed a drink of water when she saw us standing in the shade the other day.
There are so many nice people around here!
