I would like to thank all the staff members who have taken the time to add the SPCA animal adoption pictures to the website, thanks to you efforts to bring this to Castanet you have helped reunite a family with a loving animal.
On April 22, after I woke up and turned on my computer, I went to Castanet to check out the early morning news and highlights, as I scrolled down I took notice of the daily SPCA adopt an animal listing and immediately recognized the picture of a small white dog named Jasmine.
Jasmine has had a long history with my family, she is and was the dog of my estranged Uncle who on and off for 10 years lived next door to me and my father and on a great many occasions he would have us care take and babysit Jasmine, so over time she became a full family dog.
Several months ago my uncle decided to leave the Kelowna area and left the dog in the care of his wife. Not knowing what to do and not being able to care for the dog in her situation, she asked him what she should do with this dog, his response was very sad to hear, "put her down."
Instead she chose to drop Jasmine off at the SPCA in hopes she would find a good home, and with a little luck, today her family saw her on your SPCA report and immediately took off to the SPCA to pick her up.
So thank you so much for the time you continue to take to keep the SPCA adoption report current, though your efforts, you have managed to help a family be reunited with a dog they have missed and so dearly love.
