Twisted and Bizarre Attitude

I am absolutely blown away by the letter concerning same sex marriages in Saskatchewan. I think that you have by far the most twisted and bizarre take on the situation that I have ever heard. Your are speaking about the union of love between two consenting adults, that is all.

It does not matter if the couple is same sex, if they have a love that is worth celebrating, I say more power to them. It really shouldn't matter who the marriage unites, as long as it is a couple making a commitment to each other, to love and cherish one another for the rest of their lives. The comment about allowing humans to marry any mammal is by far the most insulting and ridiculous thing that I can even imagine, I can't even believe in this day and age that you could have such a view, let alone the nerve to print it.

And, to then say that these limitations would aid in public safety! Safety from what, happiness? True Love? I surely hope that you are not raising children and inflicting your disgusting views upon them, attitudes like yours are what pose a threat to public safety. I'm embarrassed for you and am disappointed in Castanet for even printing such garbage. I sincerely hope that you can change your views

J.B.
