What Is Traditional Marriage?

Yes, Saskatchewan is just another one of our spineless provinces not
willing to defend traditional marriage.

No Canadian has the constitutional right to change the definition of the
English word "Marriage". If any special interest group of Canadians can
arbitrarily choose to do so, then what is to stop me from choosing to
change the definition of the word "Black" to now mean the Caucasian race
and thus demand that all Caucasians now have their passports changed to
read that they are "Black". Ridiculous yes! But literally no different
than what the homosexual lobby is now succeeding to do.

Another point what difference does homosexual marriage make to anyone? In
our society we need limitations on most of our freedoms in order to prevent
extremists from destroying our society and our values. (i.e. why do we have
speed limits?...For our own safety). If we choose to open up marriage from
what was the limitation of the legal union of one male and one female, we
then must also choose to allow marriage to include the union of any two
beings that wish to form a union.

We do not have the right to simply limit this union to only heterosexual and homosexual unions. As bizarre as it may seem, please be prepared for Canada to very soon allow the union of marriage to include humans with mammals or for that matter, anything that a human may say that it "loves" (i.e. a tract of land, a vehicle, a home, etc.) If we as a society choose to discontinue the limitations of what we consider marriage to include, we can not discriminate against what any Canadian might consider their choice in marrying.

C.W.
