Change Lights Seems Simple
Why is it that all the turning signal lights on this major highway have to operate at the same time as the through green lights? Yes we have an advance turn green light but once the drivers clear the intersection on the yellow and reds that does not leave much time for the drivers who do have the green arrow to complete their turn, hence frustration on their part in wanting to clear an intersection.
Is it not possible to have 2 lanes turning on a green arrow in opposite directions at the same time thus avoiding the conflict with oncoming traffic? Then all lines of traffic flow at the same time on Highway 97. Seems simple to me.
