Shame on you Castanet, for hurting DH's feelings. How dare you refer to ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE OFFICERS as Cops. How dare you!
I believe we need to offer DH some support. He's in crisis right now and we can't turn our backs on him. He's not a cop, he's an RCMP officer. How can you degrade our federal police force like that? How can you demean law enforcement?
I think Castanet should indeed change their Dear Cop feature. Get rid of the guy who currently answers the questions and replace him with DH. Then you can call your feature something like, Dear Whining, Over-sensitive, laughing stock of our local RCMP Detachment!
Seriously DH. With all the truly offensive and degrading things said in this world, being called a COP isn't one of them. Get over yourself and do your job. Like Sipowitz says, "We're cops. Just doin' our job ma'am."
