I couldn’t agree more with C.K.’s letter regarding crime in our fair city. We have let this city deteriorate into one infested with crime and drugs and the sordid people that come with it. It sickens me to know that crime and drugs are so common place nowadays that honest hardworking people hardly even notice or care when they hear of their co-worker’s house getting broken into or another crack house being busted. . .that is until it happens to them!
Stop turning a blind eye, and instead, acknowledge where our city is headed if we don’t do something about it. Quit relying on our police departments to solve our problems and instead make a stand ourselves! Use your cameras or store the RCMP number in your cell phone (911 for emergency, 762-3300 in non-emergency) and call if you see anything suspicious. . .its that simple.
Make criminals fear everyone. . .not just the police. Protect life and property of your fellow man, woman and child. . .not just yourself and your own. We CAN and WILL make a difference!
