Letter: Heartfelt Thanks
On behalf of the Heart and Stroke Foundation's Okanagan/Kootenay area office, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the people of Kelowna, for their support of our February, Heart Month campaign.
Citizens of the Okangan Valley opened their hearts and their pocketbooks to our canvassers, businesses and their employees participated in Dress Red and Paint the town Red to raise over $179,473 to date for life-saving heart and stroke research and community programs.
A big thank you to our volunteer leaders and canvassers taking time to canvas their neighbourhoods. Special thanks to Cooper's Food Stores for hosting another successful Bag Days again this year.
Once again, thank you to the community of Kelowna for your generosity. You have helped make Heart Month 2004 a resounding success and we couldn't have done it without you!
