Bikes better for environment

I agree more people using bicycles in Penticton will contribute to fewer emissions and therefore help our environment repair and sustain itself.

I do wonder though about cars idling at drive-through locations and whether banning these would help more.

Also, where is the heat extracted from the outdoor ice rink slabs in Penticton and Kelowna going?

If this heat is simply being exhausted into the air, climate savings from bikes may be a moot point.
