You pay for insurance to cover you in case of any type of claim.
Now, make a claim, and you now are the enemy of ICBC.
No one should pay or be penalized for a first claim.
I have been driving for over 40 years. Last year, I had an accident. I'm sure my insurance renewal will go through the roof come January.
Where is my reward for many years of safe driving?
I feel for young drivers. Let them prove themselves. Rates can rise accordingly to their record, rather than be tripped at the starting line.
Bring back private insurance companies. Rates are half the price in Alberta.
