Random musings on life

A few musings on a Sunday afternoon:

There are no fast and slow lanes in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country; just bigger and smaller parking lots.

The Conservatives will spend some of your money, the Liberals more than some, NDP most of it, and Greens all of it on things that have very little if anything to do with you, but for self and special interest groups.

Most politicians talk until they think of something to say.

Just because you think you have a right, doesn’t make it so. Others have a right as well; you do however have the right to be wrong.

Abstinence means that you rarely need to make the hard decisions.

Anything with the word climate before it is a way to gather money unto itself; not saying I believe or don’t believe it, just be aware of what the purpose is.

We are worried about living under power lines, near cell towers, having smart meters due to electrical magnetic fields but we are not worried about driving an electric vehicle, which is one big electrical magnetic field.

Statistical analysis is used to lie to the public about everything.

If you want something to change, then get out and make the change, don’t protest about it hoping that some government will make the change for you.

No one is entitled to get something they did not work for, it will never be appreciated if it is not worked for in some fashion.

Tom Neave, Kelowna
