False letters about Gray

I have noticed several letters disparaging Kelowna-Lake Country Conservative candidate Tracy Gray. 

These letters are spreading false stories that would have us believe she is boycotting forums, not answering questions, using only scripted notes and dodging the media.

These allegations couldn’t be further from the truth. As of this week, I see Ms. Gray has attended seven all candidate forums. I have seen video, stories and interviews on several local media outlets. 

She has answered all questions put to her, none of which were scripted. 

Because she is the front-runner, according to the polls, she has been challenged by the other candidates – and she hasn’t backed down from responding, not once.

Last week, there was a radio forum on AM 1150 that Gray took part in, and none of the questions were pre-scripted. Later, that same day, she attended a forum at Creekside Theatre in Lake Country. Once again, no pre-scripted questions/answers.  

At the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce candidates forum, Gray answered questions and challenged opponents with no notes.

I believe it is time for the sycophants in the Liberal, NDP, PPC and Green parties to recognize that letters to the editor do not beat boots on the ground during an election.
