Re: the letter 'Trudeau smear job'
I feel obliged to respond. Firstly, it was the Liberals who started the smear campaign when they brought up a statement made by Andrew Scheer about gay marriage some 15 years ago.
If they are going to dish it, then they better be able to take it.
Also, Justin Trudeau has lied about campaign promises, lied about treating women with respect – appointing them to cabinet posts isn’t enough, you “actually” have to respect them. Trudeau has proven he does not with the SNC affair and his groping incident.
He lied (by omission) on his application to lead the party about his blackface episodes, he has been the only prime minster to break ethics laws (twice) and has absolutely no idea what he is doing.
So, no, we won’t be voting Scheer in because he smeared Trudeau. Justin has done a fine job of smearing himself. No, we will be voting Scheer in because we need someone other than a privileged, spoiled child to lead our country.
The Kim Kardashian of politics really needs to go. That’s the only way forward.
