We live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
For those of us who enjoy getting outside to enjoy the abundance of trails Kelowna has to offer, the sight of a portable washroom is often a welcomed sight.
I would like to publicly thank those individuals who are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the "spiffy biffies" in Kelowna.
I have personally appreciated the facilities at Knox Mountain, various beaches along the lake, and out at Bertram, not to mention along the Okanagan Rail Trail.
We have an abundance of outdoor enthusiasts, both locally and tourists. Thank you for encouraging the opportunity for extended time outside enjoying the Okanagan.
It is always wonderful to take guests out to enjoy the outdoors, and these facilities help make these trips possible.
I challenge you to go enjoy a run, ride or hike in the city and see for yourself.
