It is a terrible situation Justin Trudeau has created both for Canada on the world stage and for Canadians going to the polls.
It has been less than a year since Canada commemorated Viola Desmond on the $10 bill.
The recent past saw how many American politicians disgraced by a similar situation of wearing blackface?
This is the disgrace ... Trudeau absolutely knew his history of wearing blackface and didn’t come forward until he was caught out during this election cycle.
The disgrace for Canada is that he knew and kept silent. He was willing to smear the image of Canadians and Canada as a country for his own personal brand.
That is cowardice in our national leader and should not be condoned by voters.
The injustice is that our parliamentary system is going to require a lot of good people be taken down with him if he doesn’t do the honourable deed of stepping aside for his betters to come forward.
