I am a support worker for an agency in town. My job is to support individuals who have developmental challenges. Campbell's cutbacks this year is affecting pretty much everyone including staff in most agencies and societies.
I urge all parents/caregivers to express any concerns re: quality of services towards their child/participant to your local MLA in town.
Agencies (like the one I work for) aren't the place to complain over lack of services simply because we have no control over cutbacks. The Government is responsible let them be accountable for a change.
I would like to thank all the parents/caregivers who are patient with us and believe that we are helping the very people who need it the most. Thanks again for your support!
