Kelowna city council should spend more time and effort dealing with issues of the homeless and the absolute disgrace of homeless encampments in our city, rather than pretending to be engineers and developers debating proposed developments.
Does the city not employ high-priced professionals to review and make recommendations to council regarding these matters?
In a city that relies so heavily on tourist dollars, it is time to deal with the homeless problem. If something isn’t done soon, debating development issues will not be required, as the development will cease to be.
I am really getting tired of looking at this mess.
I can just imagine what visitors to our city are saying!
