A happier ending

I was so sad to hear the story of the ducks that were run over on the highway.

But wanted to share a good news story we came across.

We were on our way to Salmon Arm on a field trip and were stopped near the bottom of Hospital Hill in Vernon.

A woman had all four lanes of traffic stopped and was assisting what I assume were two families of geese in crossing the highway to get to Polson Park.

It was kind of magical!
